The AUKUS agreement between Australia, the UK and the US marks the largest security investment in Australia’s history, with far-reaching impacts on the space and advanced manufacturing industries. To meet the critical need for new leadership, skills and connections in these sectors, the University of South Australia has launched the Global Executive MBA in Defence and Space (GEMBA).
This unique 18-month program is delivered across three countries, reflecting the trilateral nature of the AUKUS alliance. Designed for both uniformed and civilian personnel in defence, government and related industries, GEMBA equips leaders with advanced skills in areas like cyber security, space systems and defence procurement. It combines immersive, in-person residentials in Australia, the UK and the US with high-quality online learning.
Through partnerships with Carnegie Mellon University, the University of Exeter and leading industry players, GEMBA delivers cutting-edge leadership training, empowering future leaders to navigate complex global security challenges and drive Australia’s defence and space industries forward.
